Paul has over 40 years experience in the Financial Services Industry and accordingly possesses an invaluable knowledge within this sector. Having spent 17 years with Norwich Union (now Aviva) from where he started as a Broker Consultant, he progressed steadily during this time rising to a Senior Management position within the group prior to leaving in 1995. In 1996 he started A J Short & Associates where he held the positon of Managing Partner, and subsequently became Managing Director of A J Short & Associates Ltd in 2012. Paul is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA awarded by the Institute of Bankers and the LIA)and is also a qualified Personal Insolvency Practitioner. Paul is a former President of IMAF and is also a member of the LIA. An active rugby enthusiast, Paul is currently President of Old Wesley RFC and during the summer months is an keen sailor and has a great interest in hurling.

Lisa has a wealth of knowledge across many areas having started her career in financial services in 1999. She gained valuable corporate experience with Bank of Ireland group prior to joining A.J.Short & Associates in 2002. She became a partner in 2005 and thereafter a Director of A.J Short & Associates Ltd in 2014. Lisa has forged strong trusted relationship with both clients and business partners alike. Lisa prides herself on providing trusted advice by developing an understanding of clients requirements in order to achieve the best personalised solution. Lisa holds the Diploma in Qualified Financial Advice (QFA awarded by the Institute of Bankers and the LIA) and a Diploma in Wealth Management through the Institute of Bankers. She is an accredited product adviser (APA) in personal general insurance.
